For Audiences
There are two incredibly important people in the room with us whenever and wherever we find ourselves performing. These two people are the performer and the audience member. What makes us most unique is our capacity to begin as representations of the performer, and, over the course of an interactive live experience, invite the audience to express themselves. We have witnessed the power of this inversion time and time again and therefore believe in the restorative power of this reciprocity.
This is most easily seen at DaVerse Lounge which acts as focal point for voice, culture, and community. By bringing together a diverse set of performers and participants and creating an event set against the backdrop of live music, DaVerse Lounge is able to lend itself to the city as a place to discover our collective, or that which unites us. No matter whether an individual finds themselves behind the microphone or sits the whole time in the audience, they are invited to both give and receive.
The magic of our performance has been showcased in locations ranging from the Myerson Symphony Center to an elementary school library in South Dallas. We have closed out mental health conferences and spoken to a variety of spiritual communities. We operate from the distinct belief that our work is universal, and there is no such thing as a stranger.
